Numbering Our Days

Moses describes a perspective on a relationship with God Himself in Psalm 90. God is our dwelling place if you are in Christ. Whatever you are going through you can find your home with God. God never changes, this is a very comfortable for us. We have a God who is forever the same. God has always been and no matter how hard we try, we cannot become gods ourselves. Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit and these earthly bodies will die. Therefore we must be focused on eternity and on God. We need to live our lives as if they are quickly passing and then we must go before God. It is because of God's grace and mercy that we can have joy in this life. If you are at peace with God, you do not have to dread what is coming. Verse 12 tells us to ask God to teach us how to number our days correctly. The most important thing that can every happen to you is that are saved and have eternal life through Jesus Christ. Our longing should be to see God's glory. God created us to be like Him and we are to have God establish the work of our hands.
