We Serve the Lord Christ

We follow up last week's message "Faith and Service in 2014," with a message about serving Christ. AS we walk through life, we face challenges to our commitment to Christ. We have chosen to follow Christ. WE make decisions according to our commitment. We refrain from action which might be deemed sin. We honor Christ with our wages. We serve others. We forgive when the world says we shouldn't. Basically, our life is dedicated to Christ. Sometimes the worth of that decision is not evident. Because our reward is an inheritance in heaven, sometimes patiently waiting is difficult. We look at who we serve, We Serve the Lord Christ. In the message we look at who the world serves. We examine how our service to Christ from the world's religions. We realize our service is by grace through grace. We also relate how Christ is worthy of our service. We also look at The Scripture to find information about those who may question the Value of Serving God from Job 21:5 and Malachi 3. In Job, he talks about those who are wealthy and see no benefit of walking with Christ. Then, in Malachi 3, he talks about those who walk faithfully when others may not. We close by looking at Ephesians 5:2
