God's Love Towards Us

Love is one of the characteristics of God. God is love. He eternally gives of Himself to others. In some ways His love is universal,for all people. However, God has a very special love that is reserved only for His children. That love that was displayed as he died for us, while we were sinners, ought to overwhelm us, beloved, bring us to our knees, And drive us to love Him by loving each other, And keeping his commands.
