Losing Perspective

After the victory of David's forces over the rebel Absalom, David's reaction of overwhelming grief was both out of proportion and unwise. At that moment, David had lost perspective of the spiritual purposes that God had in those events. Since our actions are shaped by our perspective, it is important to have our perspective continually anchored in God's Word.
