Wondrous News for Mary
Series Christmas Series from Luke
239
Most of us have lived long enough to have heard stunning announcements of great importance: men have landed on the moon; the president has been shot; Pearl Harbor has been attacked, etc. Each such announcement, proclaiming an event of significance to the world, was carried to millions by radio or television, but the announcement of the event that has had the most impact on mankind was made to an audience, not of millions, but of one. We call it The Annunciation, from the Latin for "announcement." This is the third message from our Christmas series from the Gospel of Luke.
