How To Pray Like a Christian, Part 1

Our Lord's teaching on the subject of prayer is both simple and practical. He tells us how not to pray (we must pray neither like a hypocrite nor like a pagan), but He also tells how we MUST pray! And our Lord has given us a template, a pattern, of prayer which we are to use every time we approach the throne of grace: the Lord's Model Prayer. In this first of four messages we explore the first four words that Christ has given us to pray: "Our Father in heaven". A great deal is implied by these words, chiefly that those who would draw nigh unto God must have first experienced the grace of adoption which is found only in Christ Jesus.
