A New Year's Prayer

At this time of year many people make New Year's resolutions. This is a time of reflection and goal setting. Our resolutions give us direction for the coming year. As Christians, a better custom would be to have a new year's prayer. Then we are calling upon the Almighty to aid us in examining ourselves and setting spiritual goals for the year. Paul's prayer for Ephesus gives us a wonderful set of goals for 2007.
