NEW YEAR'S 2023 - "New Year-Ordinary Church"

1 Thess. 5:14

Exhortation

1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ…

6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Gal. 6:1-2, 6, 9-10).

Encouragement

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Heb. 10:24-25).

… we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Acts 20:35

We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. And finally, all of these exhortations are wrapped up in the final one.. Ro. 15:1

Endurance

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 1 Cor.13:4
