KEEPING THE SABBATH

1. Keeping the Sabbath is about remembering.

i. We must remember the Sabbath day because we easily forget.

ii. The Sabbath day is a day for remembering.

2. Keeping the Sabbath is about worship.

i. The whole day is devoted to God

ii. The Sabbath is for public worship

3. Keeping the Sabbath is about rest.

b. Lawful work.
c. Personal rest.
d. Rest for others.

iii. Works of necessity and mercy.
