Hopes and Fears - Message 3 - Overcoming Fear with a Renewed Mind - Ephesians 4:17-24. As we strive to love God with all our mind, how is it that He has equipped us to overcome fear? In these days of constant fear mongering where do we turn for peace and hope? In this message we see Paul's comparison of the mind of a lost man and of a saved man and the difference is as stark as day (light) and night (darkness). We find that there are three things we should be doing to love God with all our mind: 1) Put off the old man, 2) be renewed in the spirit of our mind, and 3) put on the new man.
