Carpe Futurum

As each New Year beings, we often hear the phrase "carpe diem" which means seize the day. But as Christians, we are called not to seize the day but to live in light of what the future holds; to live in light of our eternal life, the life that Christ's sacrifice allows to have and which He freely gives to us.
