We are called to love and value God's Word. The words in this portion of Scripture give us an insight into how the Psalmist looked at his Bible. It is a gift to His people. It has been tried and tested throughout the centuries by His children, and it has never once been found false. His words are a guide to keep us in the right way, even when others try to twist and turn them. His commandments are perfect and pure, and every word is important – even the grammatical parts!

There are blessings in life that come as a result of knowing, memorizing, and keeping God's Word (Joshua 1:8). But we may also value the Bible for what it shows us.
