The Joy of Salvation

The tinsel and glimmer of the Christmas season is now passed; it is time to take down and remove lights and decorations from your houses; the excitement of children is finished for a while. The holiday is finished and we are once again plunged into the dark world of reality. This is a time to consider taxes and the discovery of news of a new year. It is time for the post-celebration depression that makes this the most popular suicide season of the year, but it need not be so for the children of grace. We can join David and cry out "I will rejoice in Thy salvation." The Lord of glory makes every day to be a happy day for His children because of their spiritual heritage.
