Besides, this Sunday, we’ll set aside thoughts of our own resolutions and enjoy a great resolution God has made on our behalf. “Beloved, now we are children of God...” 1 John 3:2 (NKJV) God has resolved to set apart a people unto Himself; to awaken their hearts; to perfect them; to glorify them as He has glorified His Son, Jesus; to make them suitable to spend all eternity with Him. God has resolved to so completely set apart these people unto Himself that He calls them His children, who one day will populate a perfect, recreated heaven and earth. Forever.
