Our Body, The Temple of the Lord

Our body was created to worship God. Sin makes some people feel as if they can do whatever they want with their body. Many perversions are becoming more open and accepted. The temple of the old testament was the dwelling place for God. Today, the Christian body belongs to God because the Holy Spirit dwells in us. 1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" We, as Christians, are to look and act like we are the temple of God; as examples to a world which increasingly rejects God and his ways.
