A King for Us
Series Mark
65 ( 41 | 24 )
Perhaps you have noticed in what we have looked at so far that Mark speaks about Jesus as King quite a lot in chapter 15. We have Jesus' admission that He is the King of the Jews to Pilate in verses 1-5. We have the choice of Barabbas, the rebel over Jesus, the King of the Jews, in verses 6-15. In the passage we are looking today (verses 15-32), reference is made to Jesus as King of the Jews three more times. Mark presents Him as a King that is just the kind of King that His people need—a King that is perfectly suited to the church in all ages.
