The Nature of the Kingdom

Just as the people of Jesus time misunderstood the nature of the kingdom, so also do we. They were expecting a military conqueror, an earthly miracle worker, an end to poverty and sickness - but the greatest enemy of all is sin, the flesh and the devil. This is what Christ came to conquer, and it could only be done on the cross.
