a. God's glory - the Glory of God is the paramount theme of the universe/Ps 19:1-2, Job 38-40
b. God's authority - in His kingdom that authority has no opposition/Rom 15
c. God's purposes - good, holy, perfect, agreeable and righteous/Is 42:8, Ps 115:1Petitions in Prayer
a. Provision
b. Pardon
c. Preservation - Jam 1:13, 1 Co 10:13
d. Protection - reveals our utter weakness and defenseless against the devilPosture in Prayer
a. Aware - "Our Father in heaven"
b. Frequently - daily
c. Dependent - reminds us who is really in charge
d. Broken - exposing our desperate need of grace, forgiveness, mercy and provision
e. Sober - we battle against an unseen enemy
f. Joyful - because "he loves us passionately to death"
