Jesus Walks On Water, So What?

The Galileans followed Jesus for the temporal benefit He would bring to them. These Jews were looking to Him as a new Moses, to deliver them from the oppression of Roman rule. Jesus then walks on water, and calms another storm, and the twelve still don’t get it. They were just glad they were saved from the storm. Jesus is God, He is the Savior of our eternal souls. Is that your Jesus, or is he someone who is there to provide for your physical needs, and protect you from harm?
