Finally Home

Heaven as a subject of preaching and Bible study has fallen on hard times. There are not many pastors or Bible teachers bothering to teach about the eternal state of the redeemed. Why? Simply put, preachers have become consumed with curing all of our earthly ills and problems, and teaching us how to achieve physical comfort and financial contentment during our early pilgrimage. Why teach about the promise of Heaven when there are so many earthly problems to focus on. It used to be said that some Christians were so Heavenly minded they were no earthly good. Actually, the opposite is true. Today, there are too many Christians who are so earthly minded they no use to the Kingdom of Heaven.
