There is a unique distinction upon the people of God... a work that only His cross can accomplish in the life of His people that believe and trust Him and live life looking to Him and honoring His gospel.

That's why we're not to think it strange when the disciples of Jesus Christ are being persecuted for righteousness sake. Trouble and tribulations are never to be sought... but rest assured, if you're living for Jesus, and loving and going to a lost world in His name, it will come to you as token of PROOF of the difference the Lord makes in His people. It's a gift of grace. And if there's no suffering Jesus sake in your life or mine, there's no proof, and if no proof, there's been no grace applied to our lives. Rest from THIS persecution will not come for the church until Jesus comes... therefore, this proof from God will continue to manifest, over and over again, until the Lord comes from heaven with all His mighty angels. I want to give you a few passages of Scripture that will help you with this thought. When you get some time, check these out, I know you'll be challenged and encouraged by them... (Philippians 1:27-30 ; Romans 8:14-17 ; Acts 14:22 ; 2 Timothy 2:12 & 3:12 ; 1 Peter 4:12-19 ; 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 & 4:7-18)
