We Are Doing a Great Work!

The Philippians’ gospel partnership/fellowship (koinonia) with Paul was like the Fellowship of the Ring (band of unlikely comrades who would lay down their lives for one another and the cause of the Fellowship). But the Fellowship of the Gospel is dependent on our joy (through gratitude) TO God FOR people. God is the source of this fellowship, and God will carry on their work until the Second Coming, as evidenced by their tenacious devotion to Paul and the work. Their work was on par with his, even though theirs was a supportive role. And Paul felt Christ loving them through him. So realize the importance of your ministry, don’t be distracted, and entangle yourself with the saints in the Fellowship of the Gospel.
