Christ in the Old Testament Pt 1

This is the first installment in a series of five fascinating messages showing Christ in the Old Testament.

In John 5:39 Jesus said, "...search the Scriptures... these are they which testify of Me.

Our Lord's words are underscored in the N.T. as the writer to the Hebrews speaks of Jesus Christ. Heb 10:7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come; In the volume of the book it is written of Me; To do Your will, O God.’” Do you you know where that is found in the O.T? Psalm 40:7.

The value of this study could not be manifested better than to see how Paul the Apostle ministered with the only Bible he had, which was the O.T. scriptures. Acts 17:2-3 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.”
