Imputed Righteousness

We know that by receiving Christ's salvation, we become immediately righteous because of the fact that Christ's righteousness becomes ours. We also know that our righteousness will do nothing because our righteousness is not even close to being truly righteous. We believe that salvation comes only through Christ and we – by faith – embrace that salvation. At that point, righteousness is literally imputed to our account.
