Reared for Battle

This verse is central to the advancing of God's Kingdom plans and this sermon focuses upon that which ought to shape the father's understanding about what he is trying to accomplish in raising his children in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Fundamentally his goal is to raise warriors who will distinguish themselves in the battle that they have been called to be engaged in for the Kingdom. When this vision is lost then a generation arises that is fit only to be trodden under the feet of men.
