In 1 Samuel 26 David and Saul meet for the last time. It is a sad passage, as we see Saul has become quite godless. Yet it shows the depth of the grace of God, who spares and shows mercy to guilty sinners - even common mercy to those who are damned. Finally it encourages us to look to Jesus in faith, and live by faith.
