I AM WHO I AM

Images of Egypt have filled the news this week. While many of those filling the streets may have differing agendas, they have one common target: yet another earthly ruler who sees himself as possessing all power. The Israelites of Moses' day also had many legitimate grievances - in fact, their circumstances were far worse - but marching in the streets and burning chariots would not have won their freedom. Regime change did not help them. When one Pharaoh died, the next one continued the same policies of oppression and slavery. Only God could save them. What would he do? God reveals himself to Moses as the God of the one, the God of the many, and the God of all...
