Tyranny

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales doesn't think habeas corpus is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Two border patrol agents get 13 years for pursuing a drug smuggler on the Mexican Border. Eleven men and women in Philadelphia get arrested for street witnessing during a state-funded homosexual rally. A Christian evangelist/creationist gets ten years for refusing to collecting social security taxes for the federal government. And everybody else gets taxed 50% of their income to run the largest governments in the history of the world.

Using Webster's 1828 dictionary, Kevin Swanson defines tyranny, and suggests that most people today have been raised to embrace it. Is that why the word is seldom used? Our forefathers gave their lives so as not to be submitted to the tyranny of big government.

But, more importantly, Kevin appeals to 1 Corinthians 7:21 to make the claim that freedom from the unnecessary servitude of men is a value to all freemen.
