In verses 12-14 of the first chapter of Colossians, Paul lists five benefits that God has given all believers through Christ:
He made us qualified to share His inheritance.
He rescued us from the domain of darkness.
He transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.
He redeemed us.
He forgave our sins.
