Jealously

After the defeat of Goliath and the Philistines there was, obviously, great rejoicing. The women, in their songs of victory, ascribed to Saul thousands slain and to David, tens of thousands. Saul was very angry and from that day forward he eyed David. A spirit of jealousy took hold of him, while, at the same time, David behaved wisely in all that he did. Here is another evidence of Saul's decline. What a miserable man he became because of his acts of disobedience.!
