Learning to Fear the Lord

If fearing the Lord is clean and enduring (Psalm 19:9) and if it is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom (Prov. 9:10) then we do well to heed the Lord's own invitation to come to Him that He may teach us the fear of the Lord (Ps. 34:11). In Malachi's day this fear was missing but Mal. 3:16 indicates that the prophet's ministry bore fruit and there could be found those that learned to fear the Lord. In this study we consider that if we're going to fear the Lord we must see that there's: 1. A Terrible Condition that has to be Overcome; 2. A Spiritual Attitude that Must be Cultivated. When both these things are done there will follow great blessings to be gained.
