Jesus King of the Saints

The priests of the Jews wanted an assertion of Jesus' guilt attached to the Cross. The Roman governor, Pilate gave them a title: "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews". By so doing, he denied Jesus' guilt and turned the argument against the petty priests. Perhaps the greatest declaration of Jesus as King comes in Revelation 15:3. It calls Him, "King of Saints". Righteousness declared made God's elect to be saints.
