Jesus Proved Himself to Thomas

Thomas missed Jesus' appearance to His disciples on resurrection day. They didn't give up, telling him, "We have seen the Lord." After eight days, Jesus "stood in the midst" saying to Thomas, "Reach your finger to my hands and your hand to my side." Thomas confessed, "My Lord and my God." Calling Jesus "God" was critical to the theme of John's Gospel. For Jesus is truly God and truly Man.
