Ask for the Old Paths

"...ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, then you will find rest for your sould. But, they said, "We will not walk in it." Jeremiah forecasts a coming calamity. He issues a call to reflect, a call to inquire and a call to submit. We are called to be steadfast and seek out the right way. We are encouraged to search the Scriptures and are assured that light will arise in the darkness. What encouragement that we will find rest for our souls. May we never be satisfied with just knowing doctrine rather may we faithfully be doers of the Word.
