Man As He Is Apart From God

People like to think that people are good or at least that there is some good in everyone. God says otherwise. He declares, based on His evaluation by His standard of holiness, that there is no one who is good, no one who does good.

This section summarizes the spiritual condition of man apart from God graciously intervening in what is otherwise a hopeless and helpless situation. This evaluation by God holds true for every person, Jew and Gentile, as all are found to be under sin's dominion and the guilt that sin results in.
