Introduction:

Theme: As we face temptation, we can learn from Jesus on how to resist temptation so that we have no excuse for sinning, but even when we fall into temptation we have a:
sympathetic high priest
champion
advocate.

I. Like Jesus, the temptations we face are many.

II. Like Jesus, the temptations we face are deceitful.

III. We have the same resources in our fight against temptation as Jesus did, therefore we need not sin.

IV. When we do sin, Scripture points out 3 great truths about Jesus and temptation.

1.  Sympathetic high priest

2.  Champion

3.  Advocate
