More than a Symbol

The communion feast is more than a symbol as it leads us into the spiritual power of the Lord. The flip side of the coin in this chapter is that idols corrupt. Paul uses the communion feast to prove that idolatry cannot be called nothing. It is more for it is to worship devils, or come under their slavery. Thus in this context we learn that the communion feast is for our power and spiritual blessing bringing us into a greater enjoyment of God's grace.
