Historic Western civilization and its culture is a direct product of Biblical Christianity. In fact, it is moreover a product of the Protestant Reformation, particularly Calvinism, and the teachings of the Seventeenth Century Puritans. Much of what freedom and morality Western Civilization enjoys today is a result of Biblical
Christianity. To be ignorant of these historic truths is to be ignorant
of American and Western Civilization's heritage.

Christianity understood that God was the God of Both Heaven and Earth and that His laws were to be applied to all spheres of life,including the Culture. Today, man refuses to acknowledge God's Sovereignty and sole ability to redeem the culture and has sought an anthropocentric plan of redemption.

As a result of this man centered redemptive program, society has
produced another form of culture, one which is alien to the original
intent and cultural pattern which was given by God. Man is now reaping what he has sown.

This 11th lecture on the culture examines the Biblical Idea of Covenantal Continuity and the Victory of the Church over the evils of secular humanism.
