Slavery. It's a word that, for good reason, evokes a wide range of negative feelings and emotions. This is especially true when one considers the particularly lamentable chapter in America's history during the 18th and 19th centuries. Having said that, however, the concept of slavery itself is never condemned in Scripture. Why?
