Proved in the Crucible

The experience of Abraham on the top of Mt. Moriah represented the apex of his life. His faith, mature and robust, responded to the great test with quiet obedience and reliance on the goodness of God Who had fulfilled every promise He had made. Abraham had no doubt that he and Isaac would both come back down the mountain, and his experience shows the wisdom of complete confidence in the Lord and a refusal to challenge His Word in any way.
