Where Was God…?

Let's talk about…

The Eyes of God.

"The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good." (Proverbs 15:3)

"The Lord has made all for Himself, yes, even the wicked for the day of doom." (Proverbs 16:4)

Do you know what God NEVER considers? He NEVER considers the odds. Things like numbers, names or notoriety play NO role in His agenda or in His purpose in bringing men or nations up or tearing them down.

Man, odds are usually an automatic considerations for us. And it's hard for us to imagine these odds — how tonight, out of the 7 billion plus people upon the earth, one single life can be powerfully and permanently changed forever. Those odds don't sound like it should go their way... but our God NEVER consider the odds, as we do. He just gives His attention, affection and authority to willing vessels that will simple trust and follow Him to the ends of the earth. Glory!!!

Possibly you, myself and the other vessels of His mercy, that belong to Him, on every continent around the globe, are fragile clay pots that have the highest of all honors of being simple but broken vessels for our King and Redeemer. Broken vessels in His hand that have His unequaled and unparalleled light of the gospel brightly shine in and through our lives. And in spite of being few in number and notoriety... like Gideon, and his clay pot bearing soldiers, we can rest assured that our gracious and glorious God NEVER considers the odds.

His purpose, priority and power will outlive us and all the odds we face. The story isn't over yet... and it's still faith that pleases and propels…
