The What and Why of Wanting

What do you want and why do you want it? That is a very good question to ask ourselves. Christmas can be a time of giving, but unfortunately Christmas can also be a time of selfishness. God gave us His very best and held nothing back. What do we give to God in return for the greatest gift ever given? This Christmas, people will be asked the question: "What do you want for Christmas?" I think it would be good if we would ask Jesus: "What do you want from me?" We find His answer in His Word. Romans 12 tells us what Jesus wants from us and why. He wants our total surrender to His will and He wants us to serve Him according to His will.
