The Hardships of Victory

Think about a coach who doesn't properly condition and prepare his team for the gridiron. What will be the product of their performance... injury upon injury, disappointment after disappointment, damage and defeat at every level, mentality, emotionally, spiritually and physically. To prepare a group of football players to effectively compete with another group of tough and well coached and prepared players, you MUST, for their own good and safety, put them through extremely hard days of physical, mental, emotional and spiritually challenging days. Coaches teach them proper techniques which can only be perfected through continuous practice, which puts them in strenuous, yet strengthening conditions, to safely compete against an unfriendly opponent. It's simple... a coach has to condition them for the gridiron or they'll ONLY lead them into one failure upon another. Is it costly? You bet. Will they get banged and broken and bruised? No doubt... it comes with the conditioning.

"For we know... If God is for us, who can be against us? He who [spared not] His only Son, but delivered Him up for us all, shall He not also, with Him, [freely give] us all things?" (Romans 8:31-32)
