The Idolatry of Worship

Worship is only intended to point us to Christ and not be worshiped itself. (The Problem) v8:13

Worship is a vital part of faith as long as it is kept in its intended place. (The Corrective)
a. Christ's church has a rich tradition of where worship is held.
i. Christ has ordained a specific place for His people to worship. V.2
• This place is set aside to enlightened
• This place is set aside to nourish
• This place is set aside as holy
• This place is set aside as a place where God meets his people. V.3-4
