In the last chapter of Leviticus, God speaks to the Israelites through Moses concerning His laws about making vows. They learn that there are different laws concerning vows, dedication and devoting. Certain humans or things can be redeemed through paying their value plus 20%. Priests are responsible for setting the values. The main thing to be learned is that God expects His people to keep their word when they make a vow or dedication or devotion.
