The Clash of the Kingdoms

The powers under which we live loom large in our thinking because they are visible and because they affect our life every day. On the other hand, Christ has been given all authority—in heaven and earth. His authority is absolute and final. All other authorities are delegated and temporary. How do we live with this tension, or with this clash or kingdoms? Daniel shows the way as he lives by the power of God’s reign before a potent and unpredictable ruler. He affirmed that God reigns, and one of this worlds rulers came to see that this is true.
