Being Ready to Give a Defense

1 Peter 3:15 is the locus classicus when it comes to defending the Christian faith. But in the immediate context of 1 Peter 3:13-17 and the book of 1 Peter as a whole, we discover that giving an answer for the hope that we have as Christians comes out of a heart that honors Christ as holy.
