Speaking the Oracles of God

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty (Psalm 29:4). What God has done for all creation in and through the one human life of Jesus of Nazareth, is now headline news going out to all nations until the close of this age. The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, to share in the joy and wonder, the anguish and the suffering of God's self-giving, redeeming love. This involves speaking the very oracles of God — which is specifically the vocation for Ray and John. As members one of another, we are called to share in this work with Jesus Christ. Pray for them, as those who will bring the word of God, that they may think theologically, and that each week, a new message may be given to them. Pray, too that the message will be received with faith, to the glory of God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
