Deity In Humanity; Part One

The disunity that Paul continues to deal with in Philippi has prompted one of the greatest Christological passages in all the New Testament; one that sounds the depths of our Lord in His glorious Incarnation.

Here, in the next 3 verses we are presented with one of the greatest passages on the nature of Jesus Christ in the entire Bible. And, at the same time, one of the most difficult to interpret outside perhaps the book of Revelation. As one Bible commentator wrote, 'Nearly every word has formed the subject of controversy.'
