Water in the Desert

Achsah asked her father Caleb for the gift of water, because she knew that without it, even the most generous gift of land in the desert was just so much dust.

Without the similar gift of the Living Water that only Jesus Christ provides, all of our temporal blessings will end up being so much dust in the end as well.
